I’m always hoping to gain some new type of skill out of anything I'm exposed to. Within the short time I’ve been training in the arts, I’ve come to realize I’m still trying to figure out who I am and why I thoroughly enjoy performing. I’ll admit, I enjoy the applause and admiration, but I know there’s more to the art of acting.

In my short time at Booker T Washington HSPVA (transferred sophomore year) I’ve trained in the areas of acting, technical theater, and mime skills. The latest skill I’ve obtained is experience as a Sound Engineer which will be a trade I wish to continue exploring as a possible career. 

      Being on stage has never been a fear of mine. The stage is comfortable, therefore giving me free range to explore the characters I portray. The feeling which comes over me when I am in front of a crowd is unlike any other. I hope to continue experiencing this kind of euphoria for the rest of my life. In my near and distant future I expect to expand on my performance and technical theater experience, along with gaining many skills along the way.

       When I attend college I will continue to study stage acting and technical engineering, I plan to attend many different courses on both subjects. Within and outside of school I aspire to aid in many productions, possibly even outside of the theater. While I am still an arts pupil I plan on doing as much as I can to the best of my abilities. 

        I have managed to become extremely entranced with the art of performance and productions. I wish to never let my love for it fade out, so within my time I shall do everything in my power to hone my skills and allow them to prosper.
